Apple could reportedly host an event this month where it could launch new Mac s along with a new iPad.The recently launched iPhone XR is also set to be available starting October 26 and Apple could throw some light on its AirPower wireless charging mat. The October event is not expected to be a big one and Apple could host a press briefing for select media to launch its new hardware. So, here are six things that Apple could launch.

New iPad Pro

Apple is expected to launch two new variants of the iPad Pro in 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes. Also, both the iPad Pro models are expected to come with Face ID and Apple could add a USB Type-C port instead of the Lightning Port. Apple could increase the screen-to-body ratio in the new iPads and cutting down the bezels. Also, there are rumours that Apple could ditch the home button as well on the new iPads.

New Macs

Apple is rumoured to showcase a new Mac this month flaunting a new design. Apple had recently upgraded its MacBook Pro lineup and it now seems time for the Mac to get a new look.

Brand new Mac Mini

The Mac Mini is still stuck in 2014 hardware. Apple is expected to upgrade its Mac Mini and it could launch a new Mac Mini this month.

New Macbook Air

The most affordable Macbook–the Macbook Air– is expected to receive a much awaited hardware upgrade. Apple could launch a new Macbook Air this month with Touch ID in two variants–with and without Touch Bar. However, the prices are expected to be higher this time.

Apple AirPower

Apple first introduced Qi wireless charging with the launch of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X smartphones in 2017. During the same Apple Event, the Cupertino tech giant showcased another product called AirPower, which is essentially a wireless charging mat that can simultaneously charge an iPhone (which supports wireless charging), Apple Watch and AirPods. Apple said that AirPower “is work in progress” and showcased a prototype of the device promising to reveal more details in 2018. We can expect Apple to showcase the complete product this month.

Apple AirPods 2

Talking about AirPods, Apple is also expected to launch its the next generation Apple AirPods wireless earphones. Likely to be called AirPods 2, the upcoming AirPods are expected to be completely water resistant with better battery life and audio quality.
