Politics in the United States is SICK due to the two party system.  US citizens generally all want the same things such as success & health for themselves and family, vibrant local communities, solid fiscal policy, and safe, healthy environment into the future.  The current two party system has become completely corrupt, ineffective, and unfair to most citizens.  To fix the current political problems, we have two possible paths, either create a NEW party that meets the needs of all citizens OR shut down the federal government as proposed by Adam Kokesh of the Libertarian party.  New monetary and governing policies should be developed to decentralize control utilizing technologies such as EOS blockchain to replace all existing systems such as voting, replace US dollar with cryptocurrency, full transparency of all corporations and non-profits on the blockchain to achieve fair taxing, and decentralized organizations that provide everyone opportunities to contribute and succeed.

Democratic-Republican Party #DemocratRepublic: This is the Initial draft statement of the Democratic-Republican (DemocratRepublic) Party and subject to change by party members.  This is an open source party available for modification on github.

DemocratRepublic is the first open political party allowing anyone to contribute and run in order to make government more effective by bridging ineffective two party systems. DemocratRepublic is short for Democratic-Republican Party.

The original Democratic-Republican Party began in 1791 by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, the American founding fathers and principal authors of the United States Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Today “Democrats” and “Republicans” spend more time focusing on their parties by fighting and arguing about politics rather than getting anything done. Neither of these parties are serving citizens of the United States properly so it’s time to bring back the Democratic-Republican party to serve as a bridge between the infighting two party system. Hence DemocratRepublic is created as the new Democratic-Republican party.

The Declaration of Independence states (with minor modifications): “All People are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable Rights of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights Governments are instituted among the People, deriving their powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Governments become destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it and to institute new Government.” Our current government HAS become destructive in many ways including the following: Allowing a single person, the President of the US, the sole decision to destroy Earth through nuclear weapons, Allowing multinational corporations the ability to game the tax system for unfair advantage over small businesses, Running up unsustainable nation debt, Destroying ecosystems of Earth, Poisoning citizens through unsafe water, land, drugs and food, Adhering to an unnecessary electoral college ignoring citizens votes, and much more.

Most citizens in the United States have the same basic goals stated in the Declaration of Independence to pursue Life, Liberty and pursuit of Happiness for their selves, their family and their community. To pursue Life, citizens need healthy air, food, water, environment and a way to support themselves and family. Government is failing in the area of Life by allowing dirty air, water, and subsidizing big agriculture to create poisonous food that is destroying environments. Government has lost control of our Liberty by creating an unsustainable national debt that keeps rising and outside influence of lobbyists, corporations and wealthy. Governments have also failed in our right of the pursuit of Happiness through the creation of the current divisive two party political system.

    The “party system” was the first attack on the experiment of our REPUBLIC form of government. It effectively took away the right of the PEOPLE to bring forth bills to the house by making the Majority Party’s puppet, the Speaker of the House, the one who sets the “agenda”.

    Beyond that, as is well demonstrated in the Constitution for the united States of America, ALL LAWS are written to define and constrain the GOVERNMENT. It is an oxymoron to create “LAWS” over a “FREE PEOPLE”. A properly functioning Republic’s government would do well to NOT create laws, as they are only for themselves (which is why in the first decades of the nation congress hardly ever met at all).

    Unfortunately, BOTH parties think it is their duty and obligation to tell free people how they are allowed to live and act,,,, I would have to call it a FASCIST PLUTOCRATIC OLIGARCHY,,,,,, a far cry from the REPUBLIC form of Government guaranteed by the Constitution.

      Given that we (US citizens) live in a ineffective two party system and neither Libertarians nor Independents have been able to make any headway towards resolution, what would you suggest?
      One reason I came up with this idea was I’ve talked to people who say “I will always vote Republican [or Democrat]”. This idea would allow people to bridge to a new third party without compromising their statement. I’m really open to ideas that could work within the current system (as we also try to decentralize everything with EOS blockchain).

        Well I could make some recommendations,,, not that our government would listen:

        1. Make ALL parties and “PACs” illegal
        2. Eliminate the Electoral College and Representatives (put in direct (with a delegation option) democratic blockchain votes.
        3. Return to: ALL CODES, STATUTES and ACTs “ONLY” apply to Government Servants and not the Free People as a whole.

        This should return the people to a state of freedom, and eliminate the possibility of secret societies or other organized groups from usurping the power of the people.

    That’s a good start. Downsize government. Eliminate the federal reserve system scam with their invisible tax that inflates our dollars away. Do away with constraints on our freedom and our ability to produce wealth without the oversight and even more taxes of an overbearing police state. It might take a complete economic reset and start from the ground up to make real reform though. They are pretty well entrenched now.
