This entry is part 6 of 8 in the series Trybe Tutorials and Announcements

Hi everyone!

This is Tom here from the flightdeck of Team Trybe ๐Ÿ™‚

We have a lot of great changes coming to Trybe.one in the very near future, so I thought I’d share them here with you!

(1) We will be starting our pre-sale very soon.

We are selling 100M TRYBE tokens in our pre-sale. The cost of these pre-sale tokens will be US$0.01. Anybody will be able to participate in this pre-sale.

However, any tokens that you buy in the pre-sale will need to meet the following condition:

They will be staked until the 1st of July 2019, and after that you will only have access to 10% of the balance each month for 6 months. After 1st January 2020, they will all be fully available for transfer/sale.

More information on the pre-sale can be found here.

(2) Advertising will soon be available on Trybe.one

We have almost completed our advertising portal well ahead of schedule! This means that you will be able to advertise on Trybe.one. Ads will take the form of sponsored stories at the top of each page and at the bottom of each post, as well as on some sidebars.

Ads will need to be paid for in TRYBE tokens.

A great use of these ads is to promote your own posts! The more you promote them, the more likely they are to get token rewards. So you can actually make extra tokens by spending some tokens on advertising!

(3) Our Trybe wallet is almost ready!

This will be an on-site wallet that will link to your EOS account using Scatter.

The wallet will have a number of great features:

  • You will be able to transfer your tokens to or from the site.
  • You will also be able to stake your tokens. Staking tokens will be required for all airdrops after the 11th December (we will be having 1 per month)
  • You will be able to participate in the pre-sale
  • You will be able to see a portfolio of all your EOS tokens in a very pretty pie chart!
  • You will also be able to delegate tokens to other people’s accounts for staking ๐Ÿ™‚

Here are some images from our prototype. We hope you like them!

Hi Tom @info Norwood, great update, the evolvement of Trybe is just breathtaking! Two questions re ads: Will only be Trybe articles be advertisable or can it be ads to external pages etc. as well?
How will the income of the ads be used. In the tokenomiks it is hinted that all staked trybe would receive a relative share of the returns.

Good morning, this all sounds very interesting to a newb like me, but there are so many wallets around, apps, being developed, exchanges out there, whts a newb like me to do. Dont get me wrong I am invested in +- 3 great coins, mostly EOS, and have accumulated a few TRYBE tokens since being a member short my short time here by writin, ok only 2 articles and my suspect poem (some people enjoyed it, lol). My point im trying to make is “Why” TRYBE wallet, or why should someone use it, if there are so many others out there?, Thats the whole point of my articles in the first place, people need to understand the why, and the huge advantages. All my coins are invested in BINANCE at the moment, even the airdrops, (yes I know I didn’t get all of them, due to BINANCE not playing the game, or whatever the reason). And obviously I have my 4000+ TRYBE tokens. But really where to from now as a newb or a new member wanting to register?

    Thanks for the post,
    Regards,
    Mark

How safe is it to buy trybe tokens right now? I am considering selling a bunch of my steem to buy tryb, but I don’t know much about this new token. Also currently there is no wallet, so how will I hold tokens I buy. Will they have to be in an exchange like Newdex?

    Hi Trybe-makers!
Two times I tried to post something, both times my post ended up nowhere, I even donยดt see the draft I did. Why this was not allowed for publishing? It was a post about the visualization of the sizes of different social media platforms, so not at all off-topic. This is more than demotivating. Sorry, but if your publication strategy is so narrow, this will not end up as a success story, just my 2c.

Today, there are so many projects that it is not known who the future is for.
And in that company there are moments that will give a leading position, both to the project and its followers.

When I go to do an airgrab for the September 11 2018 drop in the eostoolkit.io, i get an error an http 500 error which means that there was an error with the Internal Server. Could someone look into this?
