The optimistic approach of up voting,
versus the pessimism, of down voting,

Many a post or article is written and approved,
members have a choice to rate, this disapproved,

yes it is sad for the writer to get 3 or less star rating,
destroying the writers inspirational creating,

the member sometimes stops and feels bad,
occasionally even left very sad, and enough had,

a loss to TRYBE the member leaves, discouraged,
emotionally hurt and no longer encouraged,

if the writer remains, now negatively impacted,
not sure to attempt again as he/she is distracted,

rated 4 or 5 stars, the writer automatically inspired,
continue to write and grow and never retired,

tokens to earn on TRYBE will ensure the writer in vain,
no tokens earned to the uninspired does cause pain,

a members prerogative to up or down vote to help or no,
think about the person, all are human, a sad blow,

home language English some not, translate not always great,
may cause an article to look bad, or content the persons fate,

a TRYBE member to remember as a team, the need to encourage,
not attack a writer and down vote, this will surely discourage,

I vote 4 to 5 stars always, however you see wrong, but I believe,
a post is approved by admin, for a new member to learn and earn,

not the member to be disheartened and for TRYBE to leave,
we grow our TRYBE community, positivity and help a new member,

all began somewhere, some speak English some don’t, just remember,
rating an article you don’t like, up vote, but comment with a lesson,

to rate and  no comment, does not a writer help, no lesson,
keep inspiring, with constructive criticism, no major mission,

A new writer, to remain positive, and inspired with TRYBE your decision.

Thank you @infosion, the rating at the moment causes numerous issues, from teams forming to negative impacts on the new members, and TRYBE is supposed to be a positive for corresponding and building a community, maybe the ADMIN need to be more stringent on what they approve rather than a member having the choice of down voting, All IMO, of course. Also this 2 day wait is irritating.
Appreciate you dropping to read bud.

I agree. I also act like you I guess, even if I think if an article isn’t that great but you can see the person invested his time and made his thoughts I allways wanna appreciate it. Didn’t see anything so far which I thought would’ve been worth only rating 3 stars or les so far.
Also don’t like this attitude of groups forming to be destructive. Think this site allready shows lots of future potential regarding colaboration, time will make things better and attract the right people to this TRYBE I hope 🙂

Sorry, to add – but i am very passionate about this. In order for TRYBE to accomplish a positive growth they will certainly need to rethink the way members are invited, and treated, a lot more marketing is also required, in a positive way, and in an inclusive way. TRYBE growth seems fast but there are +8 billion people on earth, imagine the possibilities. Mass adoption, the possibilities are endless.
      Just saying,

Yeah I agree, the language barrier issue works both ways, we need to ensure that we read and rate accordingly too. Well if your home language is not English, can you imagine my poetry in translate, the rhyme scheme would make absolutely no sense.

Absolutely, I think that if TRYBE wants to grow, and we as members are true to this as members of this community we have the responsibility to ensure a positive attitude to all that includes everyone irrespective of race, and nationality.

True words Zeus. I was just dealing with exactly the disheartened aspect with my last post. Tried to give out some inspiration but it didn’t seem to get much appreciation. Do I take my toys and go home? Nah, I’ll stick around a bit longer thanks to you.

Yup, one click at a time, so to say. Lets keep it positive, we as members can make this change by being positive to each other and new members too, it will help TRYBE grow automatically.

Great stuff @zeus69! You make a lot of excellent points on poetic form -nice one. I agree too that perhaps the admins could filter the weaker/repackaged post because though I too want to encourage all new members (and old) I also don’t want to wade through spam-referral posts which would kill the platform. Nonetheless, the message of support is a great one. I would add that those who post and run ie. don’t read any other posts are in fact killing the very thing they wish to make use of – community is key here imo.

Thanks bud, also frustrates me this 2 day rule. Some people like myself sometimes write more than one article per day, whether worthy of approval or not, once approved “stringent approval” then should be worthy of rating by same person if possible, I also know though that people are and have abused this system, its a difficult one.

Hey CD – I agree with you in regards, to post and run, yeah does somehow frustrate me, also the fact that certain posts get through approval, that might or should not have, should be discussed by the TRYBE team, more stringent approval process.
      Thanks for reading my friend.

I mostly agree, but a negative rating does have its place. What exactly should the function be? That’s subjective and the answer differs with each user.

For me if it’s a decent article I’ll give it a 4-5, because it’s free. Although, if it’s plagiarism I’ll rate it a 1. The same if it looks like lazy work trying to post quantity just to earn tokens.

If I simply don’t like how it’s written I’ll just move on.

I actually agree with you, I simply wrote this as an optimistic approach for members, some members are purely negative in their approach towards others. Plagiarism, thats a totally different subject, they should be banned immediately. I saying that my stuff cant be plagiarized as nobody can write the shit I do ;), Lol
      Thanks for reading and commenting.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate your comments, I really believe that we need to inspire more optimism on TRYBE, there is enough negativity in crypto already, I bring this knowledge from my own 15 staff I have, just a bit of positive influence and critic goes a long way.

Wow Zeus I only wish we had a couple of more people like you, not just on Trybe but in the universe as a whole, I got information today that someone in my neighborhood committed suicide, out of frustration and I felt really bad about it!
Please lets always try and encourage people in anyway we can . We have nothing to lose by rating and correcting an authors post!
I personally take my time to read, rate and comment on every article posted on Trybe daily !..once again, thanks Zeus for sharing this

Thanks Aighufue, I do appreciate you reading and rating my post. Yeah we do need much more optimism around, people inspiring each other. I am glad to hear that you have an optimistic approach to everything.

Absolutely, some down votes could also be from a newbie, not sure how to vote and clicks 1 star to drag to 5 stars but then the 1 star is accepted and a change cant me made, hope I explained this properly, I have made mistakes like this in the beginning. You should be able to change the rate before submitting your (mandatory) comment
