in different time  intervals, people often wonder how they can attest that they are on the right path to success. Life itself is synonymous to a video game. In videos games, you know you are on the right path when you encounter enemies. So don’t be paranoid when life throws negativity at your door step.

Life does not have a conscience and it happens any way it wants to happen. Life can be miserably unfair to some people, at the same time, lighter and bearable to others. Life can turn you from a scavenger to a dealer in gold and at the same time can turn a filthy rich man into a low life. Life can see you engulfed in pains and still walk to where you are and sprinkle salt on your face.

So today, I will be talking about some of the major signs that will act as a radar to show you that you are on the right path.

Adversity/affliction: once you find yourself in any form of affliction, be it financial adversity or health retardation, you need to understand that it’s only a temporal situation. It is pointless trying to find a permanent solution to a temporal problem. Bear in mind that any adversity that comes your way will always lead to greater opportunity. Universally, every adversity has a significance so therefore, you need to understand what that significance means. This will open your mind to better understanding, and giving you an insight on what to do in the near future.

Situation and circumstances: whenever you find yourself in circumstances, even though they are for the worst, you need to learn to turn such situations into opportunity

Financial status: “your money will always teach you what to do”Daniel Ally. When you compare your savings, income and expenditure, as well as your investment and spending, then you need to take a bold step and ask yourself “what is the significance of this money to my life right now? If you are able to find answer to this question, it means you are on the right path.

People around you: there are two types of people in your life. I.e. people who are either hurting you or helping you. The types of people you flank yourself with has a major role to play in your life. At times, you may have friends who has the right intention but may provide the wrong direction. This happens because only you know what is best for you. You need to understand yourself as well as the people surrounding you. If you are able to do this, it simply means that you are on the right path.

5. Opportunity: “In The Middle Of Difficulty Lies Opportunity.” – Albert Einstein . Not all opportunities are the right opportunities. Whenever you are faced with an opportunity, take your time to scrutinize that opportunity, search your heart before making any decision. Not all opportunities are meant to be taken. You need to think carefully which opportunity you want to pursue.

I agree with all the points you made in the post Mary.

As a wise man once said, life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you gonna get. All we can do is play the cards we are given as best as we can ^_^

Haha – nice one Mary Jay – I just actually spent my time with random scribblings writing about paths that people choose to take going forward in their lives… Some really good points indeed – but my favorite being those that you choose to surround yourself with – it really does make all the difference 😉

Everyone have own decisions about the right path about attitude, religion, and about life itself… I learn about how to survive on my life, how to be good people and I always feel that I need some distraction for taking me to the real life and that’s the right path. Thank you for sharing

wow. the part “people around you” really nails it. i always thing that the fewer friends you have, the richer you are… quality over quantity. there is always a balance, and its very important to identify who is helping you and who is hurting you.

Another great point I have learnt is that people are the average of their friends. that is the people I hang out with and interact with the most have the highest influence on me. therefore it is important to surround ourselves with people we look up to and want to be like.

thank you for the great post!
