When we are talking about health, sometimes we might overlook mental health. To stay healthy and live a happy life, we need to focus on both physical and mental health.

Depression is a serious health condition. When people feel depressed, everything seems meaningless to them. To stay alive a day becomes very difficult for them. From the outside, you might not recognize that they are suffering from depression. They talk and behave like others, but when they are alone, they feel how helpless they are. And they are feeling severe pain.

Depression is killing people inside when they are alive. Sometimes people commit suicide with a view to getting rid of the pain. You might judge them easily when they commit suicide, but you will never know what they were going through.

Life has a purpose. You never should commit suicide and end your life. Suicide is not a solution to any problem. To solve the problem, you have to stay alive.

Depression is the silent killer in our society. Many people are suffering from depression. Depressed people become hopeless and they do not find any hope to live any more. They do not see any light in the darkness of depression. They lose their confidence. And they find no way to bring a positive change in their life.

To make our society better, we have to do something to help depressed people. Talk to the people who are going through tremendous pain because of depression. Show them the bright side of life. Love them and try to solve their problem. They are not alone. Stand beside them. Always be there for them.

Life is beautiful! Make them feel the beauty of life and show them what they can do to change their lives. We all should come forward to help and support depressed people. Make sure that they can get professional help and support from their friends and family. If we all work together, we can save thousands of lives and make this world a better place for everyone.

    I was in depression once. And then i realized, i have to make my own hard decisions. That need some power of will and have to be brave. But it works.
    Lately i see many times, people doesnt want to make hard decisions, and they want to stay in depression. Dunno why, maybe its convenient for them.

      That was a hard time. Everything seems meaningless. Sometimes you have to take a tough decision. To make a change, you have to do something maybe you have not thought of doing that before.

    Thank you for sharing this post – I think that there are so many people that go through depression that do not even show it, its very sad, they suffer in silence. If a person is physically ill they run to a doctor but as soon as it is something psychological then tend to keep quiet, theres some stigma attached that scares people away from revealing there inner illness.

      Yes, I agree with you. When people are suffering from health issues physically, they go to the doctor, but they are suffering from something that is related to mental health, they feel shy or just keep it a secret. The thing is, you cannot know whether someone is under depression or not, just looking at her/him.

      When we talk about health, we usually talk about losing weight, building muscles, getting six packs and so on. And that’s great. We kind of ignore mental health. You can never imagine what is going through someone’s mind when she/he is in depression. Let’s come forward and support people who are going through severe pain of depression.
