Initiative Q is building the payment system of the future. The Q payment network will integrate the best technological improvements that have been made in the payment industry over the last few decades to create a flexible, easy-to-use and inexpensive payment network.
Now, these technologies have been available for years, but have not been adopted due to the “classic” chicken and egg barrier: No buyer wants to join a new network with no sellers, and no seller will offer a payment option that no buyer uses.
So, why should I join Initiative Q?
According to the team, the earlier you join, the higher your reward. And as they themselves say “we believe that Initiative Q will overcome the main barrier to a better payment system, and has a good chance of becoming the global standard. But even if you give it just a 0.1% chance of success, think of it as a free lottery ticket.”
Why not? It’s free and safe as ALL you need to do is provide your name and email or social account. By joining, you increase the chances of success, and accelerate the transformation of the payment industry – a change that will benefit everyone, leading to lower costs, less fraud, fewer scams, and eliminating the need for cash and plastic.
You can only join by invitation (and each “inviter” has a maximum of 5 invites in total). Invites are limited in order to create a level playing field and not concentrate the majority of their tokens within the hands of a few “whales”. Sign up will currently secure you 14,000Q tokens with a potential possiblity of 140,007Q. As adoption increases this figure will continue to go down, for example, It was 184,000Q just a few days ago.
The website is quite comprehensive and has a very detailed Q&A section along with an analysis of their economic model and lots lots more.
All in all it looks like an interesting project and my personal invitation code for those of you who may be interested is:
Once you “sign up” I will need to “verify” you and then you are good to go. As stated earlier, I can only give 5 invites in total, so maybe those of you who choose to join could re-post your own invite code within this thread to allow others (and yourselves) to benefit from being early adopters.
Finally, as always in crypto, do your homework. And since you need only give minimal information – name, email and an invite from an existing user, you really have nothing to lose 🙂
