I wrote this article to help people understand that no matter the amount of wealth, Health, friends and security that you have today, you will still search for more.(Human nature)

Let me use myself as a case study. When I started Google Adsence, my initial plans was to make at most $300 per month. In my first month, I made about $290 so I said to myself “I almost hit my goal” just a little more effort is required. The following month I was able to make $400 and I said to myself again, my $300 threshold was too small why not make it $500 so I increased my monthly target to $500. In a nutshell, I kept on increasing my monthly target by $100  till I got to $1000 it was only then I realized that even if I got a million dollar per month, I would still aim for more.

What inspired me to write this article was the scenario that happened to me in 2011, I was an athlete and I was at the top of my game. My only wishes then was how I can be best in the world, make a lot of money, travel to places, and be in the front page of Forbes magazine. I worked hard to achieve my goals.

November 13th 2011, I had a football match to play, and unfortunately I had a knee injury why playing for my team. For 2 weeks I couldn’t walk I was in crutches. The only goal I had in mind at this point was how to walk again relinquishing all my goals of being in Forbes magazine. I never appreciated the legs I had until this day.

There are a lot of people in the hospital today who can only breathe with the help of an oxygen tank. (if such persons were given the option either to be given $50 million dollars or have their ability to breathe through their Nose again, I’m sure they will chose just to be able to breathe through their Nose again.)

We really need to start appreciating what we have no matter how little it is. Some of us might be worried about not having the kind of clothes we want, believe me someone out there just don’t want to be naked. There are people out there who just want to have something eat.

Don’t be so carried away in looking at the people who are better than you. Take a second and look behind to see people you are better than.

“There will always be a bigger bigger house out there, there will always some clothes fresher than the one you have, there will always be a woman out there prettier than your spouse, you will never be happy until you learn to love yours”!

Work hard, pray, help others and appreciate what you have these are the words I will leave you with.

Don’t forget to leave your opinion in the comment section. Thanks for reading.

Great post my friend, yeah human greed in a lot of cases can over rule your life, that’s why the balance is important. Stay focused in life and the people around you, yes money is important for survival but shouldn’t control you at all.
