Our mind is very special tool, whatever we are thinking has a great influence in what goes on in our daily lives. If you keep thinking negatively, you might be as good as a prophet.
Having a Positive thoughts daily can shape your life in the right direction.
My article today is centered on self motivation.
A research was conducted on 10 patients suffering from the same disease, the same drug was administered to the 10 of them (the drug administered to them was not meant to cure the sickness, it was a different drugs entirely)
5 of the patient were made to understand that the drugs being given to them was not actually meant to cure the sickness that the drug was only being experimented. while the other 5 patient were told that the drugs being given to them was actually meant to cure the sickness, after a couple of days, 4 out of the 5 patients who were told that the drugs was actually meant to cure the sickness got well, while the other 5 who were told that the drug was not meant for the sickness remained ill.
The above example is a flawless illustration which shows that Healing comes from the mind.
Another great illustration is a Calf that was tied to a tree with a rope on its leg, when the calf became an Elephant, the same rope was used to tie it to the same tree, the elephant already had that illusion that it can’t break that rope as a Calf. The elephant is no longer trapped there by the rope but by the illusion that it can’t break that rope.
Another great illustration is “an Eagle that lived and died a chicken”. A chicken egg was replaced by an eagle egg, and the chicken hashed the eagle along with other chicks, the Eagle lived its entire life being a chicken because that is what it was made to believe. One day the Eagle saw another eagle flying so high in the sky so the Eagle asked the other chicken “what is that” The chicken replied, “that is the king of all birds don’t ever dream of being like that because we are birds of the land. That was how that eagle lived and died a chicken.
Be positive in what ever you do, be your self motivation. Don’t depend on people for your happiness, “Its better to walk alone than to walk with others in the wrong direction”
