There’s an old saying. Try try again. There’s not much to the saying…. it just means if you fail then you should try again. What happens if you don’t try again though?
What happens if you didn’t try in the first place.
Now certainly there have been instances when you thought to yourself that you really regret something that you said or did.
We’ve all done some shameful things that we feel bad about. Many of us have done them under the influence of alcohol. That doesn’t excuse them.
However, the worst kind of regret is the kind that involves not doing something that you wanted to do for one reason or another.
Were you thinking about going to that ball game but then you decided that there was too much traffic? I’ll bet it would have been a fun time.
Did you think about asking that beautiful girl out at work? She was out of your league so you didn’t even give it a shot.
Maybe she likes guys exactly like you. Maybe she’s been pining away for you.
I can’t count how many times I’ve done something that I regret. It’s a part of life.
I can definitely tell you though that there are at least 10 times more things that I haven’t done that I regret.
I didn’t think that I could get that really high-paying job even though I had already been accepted into the interview process. My life would be a lot different now if I had been able to achieve that goal.
There are so many things that I wanted to try in life that I never got the opportunity to do. Now, I say I never got the opportunity but what I really mean by that is that I never created the opportunity.
The next time you’re thinking about buying yourself that expensive item but you think you might not be able to afford it think about what you might feel like to not have it.
The next time you thinking about applying for that job but you think maybe you’re not quite qualified enough think about what it might be like to not work there.
You don’t want to live your life in a world where you don’t get the things you want.
That is a world full of regret.
So my advice to anyone reading this would be to buy some Steem Power. If you don’t you very well may regret it.
